Elaine Silverstein Elaine Silverstein holds a certificate in Sustainable Landscape Management from the New York Botanical Garden, where she also studies landscape design, botany, and ecology. She has a horticulture practice in the Bergen County area, in which she focuses on designing and installing gardens based on native plants. She is co-leader of the Bergen-Passaic chapter of NPSNJ and co-chair of the Glen Rock Shade Tree Advisory Committee.

Horticulturist and chapter co-leader Elaine Silverstein will describe some steps you can take to make your garden easier and cheaper to manage, as well as more sustainable.
